Worship Arts

The Worship, Music & Arts Ministry is designed to complement the Progressive Community Church ministry at large through various forms of music, praise, worship, song, dance and other art forms.   The choir’s goal and intent is to minister salvation, encouragement, and God’s love to the souls of men, women, boys, and girls in church service settings, special events and outreach opportunities.

Choir and Praise & Worship Team

Acts 16:25-26  About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.  26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken.  At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.

As a choir and praise & worship team we present ourselves as a living sacrifice set apart to be used by God.  We seek by way of the Holy Spirit, through song, to shake the very foundations of imprisonment in individuals so that hearts are open like doors and minds set free as if chains were loosed.  Therefore, opening a passage way for the Word of God to flow freely with hopes of non-believer's being saved and believer's growing in the faith.

King’s Kidz Ministry

The King’s Kid’s Choir is a music ministry for children ages 5-12 years old.  The purpose of the ministry is to train children to use their gifts for the glory and honor of God, to teach them God’s Word, and to participate in the worship service. We also provide a solid foundation in teaching basic music fundamentals and voice control to help the children develop positive rehearsal and performance techniques.  

Rehearsals :  4th Sunday @ 10:45 AM (after praise & worship), in rooms 110/111.
