What to Expect
I know it’s not easy visiting a new church for the first time. As the senior pastor of PCC, I want to make your visit an enjoyable , easy, stress-free, and relaxing experience. We designed PCC to be "inviting" to people, whatever their background, including those who have never been to church before. So what I would like to do is give you a brief overview of what to expect when visiting our church.
At the front door, there should be some friendly people (we call them the “Welcome Committee”) to say hello, answer any questions you have, and direct you to the sanctuary. If you have kids, they can point you to Children’s Church or the Nursery. We’ve developed a good security system so you’ll know your kids are safe and well cared for. As far as clothing, you are free to dress however you like, in anything from "office casual" to jeans and sneakers to suits and ties.
The service begins with praise and worship, followed by a welcome and then the preached word. You will hear a message that is Bible-based, understandable and practical. Hopefully, you will leave the service encouraged, challenged and comforted.
At the end of each service I make it a point to greet each person in the rear of the sanctuary. Please feel free to introduce yourself personally on your way out.
